BEHIND THE LENS
I'm Christine. Nice to meet you. I was born & raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada by immigrant Portuguese parents. I am married to my high school sweetheart who is also a Portuguese Immigrant. We are parents to 2 beautiful special needs children and 2 fur babies (cats to be exact).
I've loved photography ever since I could remember. I was a teenager with my parents' old analog camera, taking photos of nature and interesting architecture. I didn't get to practice much so photography had to stay as a hobby for many years. When the digital age began, I rekindled my passion for photography and I haven't looked back since. That was about 10 years ago, maybe more.
I am an easy going person. Photography is one way I express my creativity. When on shoots, I like to connect with the people I am working with and have fun. Sometimes my husband will be there helping and he definitely knows how to put anyone at ease in a heartbeat. Life is too short for too many serious photos! Sometimes the natural expressions when no one is paying attention turn out the best.
